P.O. Box
Now that the business plan is in the final stages and licenses need to be submitted, an address is needed. Since the location of the business is not yet confirmed, a P.O. Box is needed. I remember making my first phone call and asking the post office how to obtain a business P.O. Box. The sound of the business name coming out of my mouth was such a crazy experience.
I will never forget going to the post office to pick up my “box” keys and the worker telling me congratulations. He was actually the very first stranger that I told about Blow Out! Of course, I had to explain to him what it was and the services that we will offer. He thought it was so interesting and made sure I promised to bring business cards to him once we are open. I left that post office with so much excitement!! I did not have architectural drawings, a business location, or any business cards to hand out…but I had the post office man who was interested in sending his wife and friends-that was a start!
