Share

-
Wear loose-fitting clothing to reduce friction
-
Avoid perfumed sprays, lotions, creams
-
Apply mild soothing gels like aloe vera
-
Wait 24 hours before applying antiperspirant (deodorant) to the underarms-use powder instead
-
Avoid tanning beds or UV light
-
Do NOT get in a sauna, steam room or hot bath for 48 hours
-
Try to avoid excess sweating from working out
-
Do not touch the area (bacteria on your hands can cause infections)

If your skin is very sensitive, make sure your esthetitican is using a fragrance free wax. You can also apply ice to any sensitive areas once you get home. If you follow your skin therapist advice, you should have no issues!
