A tinted lip oil from Jane Iredale that reacts with the pH of your lips and settles into a shade of its own, so the color in the tube is a starting point rather than a promise.

It wears like an oil, not a gloss: cushiony and shiny without the tack. Jane Iredale built it around pomegranate, raspberry, jojoba and grape seed oils and positions it as a hydration step as much as a color one, with a soft stain left behind as the shine wears down.

Tips:

Skip balm, liner or lipstick underneath. Jane Iredale notes that anything between the oil and your lips can block the pH reaction and change how the color develops.
