What's Included
The whole ProCell system, in the price. The treatment does not end when you leave the studio.

Fifteen minutes of LED light therapy
A relaxing LED session after the treatment to complement it.

A soothing, restorative mask chosen for your skin after microchanneling.

Common Questions
Plan on an hour. Caroline examines your skin first, then cleanses and preps it. She works the ProCell device across the treatment area in a stamping motion with a ProCell serum, adjusting as she goes to how your skin is responding. Fifteen minutes of LED follows, then the treatment mask. You leave with the recovery kit and instructions for the next few days.
The whole system, not an hour with a device. ProCell designed microchanneling as a treatment plus a recovery protocol, and the protocol is where your skin does the work over the days that follow. So the price covers the session with Caroline, fifteen minutes of LED light therapy, a professional treatment mask, and the full ProCell MD recovery set to take home: Step 1, the Cellular Renewal Serum, and Step 2, the Healing Accelerator, the same two serums ProCell sells on their own and that Caroline stocks in the studio, to use twice a day from the morning after. It also covers Caroline's ProCell certification and the fact that she performs every session herself, start to finish. When you compare prices, ask what is included after you leave the room.
Less than most people expect. ProCell's own guidance is that most clients have the treatment without numbing cream and without any real pain. What you notice is the sound of the device and some mild discomfort while it works, and afterward a tight feeling in the skin rather than soreness. If you would rather not feel much at all, Caroline offers a topical numbing cream before she begins; just mention it when you book. She talks you through every step before she starts and checks in as she goes, and the LED and mask at the end are the calm part of the hour.
Microchanneling is gentle, but it is not for everyone, and Caroline would rather tell you no than treat skin that is not ready. Following ProCell's guidance, she will not treat you if you are pregnant or nursing, have an active cold sore in the treatment area, have uncontrolled diabetes, hepatitis, hemophilia or a heart condition, have a history of keloid scarring above the neck or a chronic skin condition, or have taken Accutane in the last six months. Severe or cystic acne needs to calm down first; mild active acne is fine. She will also ask about blood thinners, recent peels or laser, recent Botox or fillers, radiation or chemotherapy, and steroids or anti-inflammatories, so come ready to mention them. To prepare, give your skin a short break from actives: pause vitamin C, acids and over-the-counter retinol for two to three days before your session, and prescription retinoids such as Retin-A or Differin for a full week. Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, and Caroline takes it from there.
You will leave looking a little flushed, like a light sunburn, and your skin may feel warm, tight or a touch itchy for the rest of the day. ProCell lists all of that as the skin doing exactly what it should. For the first 90 minutes, let it be: nothing goes on the treated skin and nothing touches it, not sunscreen, not makeup, not your phone against your cheek. After that, sunscreen and makeup are fine. Stay out of direct sun for the first 24 hours and keep your skin well hydrated. From the next morning, use the two-step ProCell recovery kit you take home, twice a day on clean skin, Step 1 then Step 2, and hold off on acids, vitamin C and prescription retinoids for two to three days. The only thing you give up is a little product for a few days.
Both create tiny channels in the skin. Microneedling pens are typically set deeper and move across the skin. ProCell describes microchanneling as a vertical stamping motion at a consistent, shallow depth, designed to work without penetrating living tissue. Caroline can walk you through which approach suits your skin and your goals.
Caroline recommends a series. Three sessions is the usual starting point and six is the full course, spaced several weeks apart. The series of three and series of six are purchased as packages and each session is booked individually.
Use the booking button on this page. Your appointment opens with microchanneling already selected. A deposit holds the appointment and is applied to the treatment.
