Waxing

Facial and body waxing for women and men, from brows to bikini. Every service is done by Caroline herself, start to finish, in a private treatment room.

Waxing removes hair from the root rather than cutting it at the surface, which is why the smooth period lasts longer than shaving and why regrowth tends to come back finer over time. It also lifts dead skin along with the hair, so skin is left smoother than it was, not just hair free.

The part that matters most is technique. Wax temperature, the direction of the pull and how the skin is held are what separate a comfortable appointment from a painful one, and they are also what protects the skin afterward.

Afterward, skin is more reactive than usual for a day or so. Calm Skin Chamomile Moisturizer is what I reach for on sensitized skin, and keeping sun off freshly waxed areas is worth the effort.
