What is included
Everything below is in the $299 price. Nothing is added on the day.
ProCell microchanneling
Caroline performs the treatment across the full face, area by area, adjusting as she sees how your skin responds. She completed ProCell's certification training in September 2026.
Fifteen minutes of LED light therapy
Every session includes fifteen minutes under the Celluma LED panel after the treatment.
ProCell cooling mask
The ProCell cooling mask finishes the session. It is part of ProCell's protocol.

A pair of the ProCell MD aftercare serums, Step 1 and Step 2, 5 ml each, is included to use twice a day from the morning after. On a series it comes with the first session, and the series of six includes a fresh pair at the fourth.

Common questions
At Skin by Caroline a first session is $299 for new clients, regularly $350. A series of three is $950 ($317 per session) and a series of six is $1,775 ($296 per session). Every session includes fifteen minutes of LED light therapy, the ProCell cooling mask and, with single sessions and the first session of a series, a pair of the ProCell MD aftercare serums to take home.
For most clients it is the better starting point. Both treatments work on the same principle, and the difference is the recovery: about ninety minutes for microchanneling, where microneedling leaves the skin red for a few days. Microchanneling also finishes with LED light therapy, the cooling mask and a pair of aftercare serums to take home. Caroline offers both and will recommend the one that suits your skin and your schedule.
The lower price lets you try the full session, with everything included, before deciding on a series. It is the same session Caroline performs at $350, not a shorter one.
People book it for the look of fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores and uneven tone. ProCell describes the treatment as supporting the skin's own renewal. What any one person sees depends on their skin and how many sessions they do, and Caroline will tell you what is realistic for yours.
Most clients find it more comfortable than they expected. ProCell's own guidance is that most clients have the treatment without numbing cream and without any real pain. What is noticeable is the sound of the device and some mild discomfort while it works, and afterward a tight feeling in the skin rather than soreness. If you would prefer not to feel much at all, Caroline offers a topical numbing cream before she begins. Please mention it when you book. She explains each step before she starts and checks in with you as she goes, and the LED and the mask at the end are the calm part of the hour.
Microchanneling is gentle, but it is not suitable for everyone. Following ProCell's guidance, Caroline will not treat you if you are pregnant or nursing, have an active cold sore in the treatment area, have uncontrolled diabetes, hepatitis, hemophilia or a heart condition, have a history of keloid scarring above the neck or a chronic skin condition, or have taken Accutane in the last six months. Severe or cystic acne needs to calm down first; mild active acne is fine. She will also ask about blood thinners, recent peels or laser, recent Botox or fillers, radiation or chemotherapy, and steroids or anti-inflammatories, so please be ready to mention them. To prepare, give your skin a short break from active ingredients: pause vitamin C, acids and over-the-counter retinol for two to three days before your session, and prescription retinoids such as Retin-A or Differin for a full week. Please arrive with clean skin and no makeup.
Some flushing is expected immediately after the session, similar to a light sunburn, and the skin may feel warm, tight or slightly itchy for the rest of the day. ProCell describes this as the expected response. For the first 90 minutes, nothing should go on the treated skin and nothing should touch it, including sunscreen and makeup. After that, sunscreen and makeup are fine. Direct sun should be avoided for the first 24 hours, and the skin kept well hydrated. From the next morning, the two-step ProCell aftercare pair is used twice a day on clean skin, Step 1 then Step 2, and acids, vitamin C and prescription retinoids are paused for two to three days.

What Caroline recommends afterward
Your aftercare pair covers the first days. After the first ninety minutes, mineral makeup is what I reach for, and daily SPF is the one step I will not let you skip.
